Climate coalition plans march

Athens area activists are launching a new “Georgia Climate Change Coalition” this weekend and plan a march from the University of Georgia campus to a rally in downtown Athens.
The coalition, which includes trout fishermen as well as environmental activists, hopes to convince civic leaders and people in general to take steps — both within the government and in their personal lives — to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions that are fueling climate change.
